1,4-Butanediol diglycidyl ether is also known as 1,4-bis(2,3-epoxypropoxy)butane. It is a homobifunctional monomer with two epoxide groups and is widely used to modify the viscosity of epoxy resins. It is also used as a cross-linking agent to synthesize polymer networks. It is a reactive diluent commonly used in the formulation of epoxy resins, coatings, adhesives, and composite materials.
