It is also commonly named “isododecane” which represents a group of linear and/or branched saturated hydrocarbons composed exclusively of hydrogen and carbon (general formula C12H26). Theoretically, there can be 355 different isododecane isomers. Isododecane is used in a diverse range of products, including moisturizers, cosmetics, hair care products, and serums. Isododecane can be found in products such as foundation and concealer, lipstick, mascara, serums, hairspray, shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, and eyeliner.
