Four major active diterpenoids are present in A. paniculata - andrographolide, 14-deoxy-11,12- didehydroandrographolide, neoandrographolide, and 14-deoxyandrographolide (4, 5). Andrographis paniculata is also a rich source of diterpenoids and 20-oxygenated flavonoids including isoandrographolide, 14-deoxyandrographolide 19 b-D-glucoside, andrographan, homoandrographolide, andrographosterin, and stigmasterol.
