Clomipramine is indicated for the treatment of obsessions and compulsions in patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Clomipramine is also indicated for the treatment of depression. Clomipramine is also used as a veterinary medicine. It is used as an aid in the treatment of separation-related disorders in dogs manifested by destruction and inappropriate elimination (defecation and urination) and only in combination with behavioral modification techniques.
