Dexpramipexole (also known as KNS-760704 and R-pramipexole) is a benzothiazole derivative and dopamine agonist with antioxidant properties. Dexpramipexole was originally developed to treat amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS); however, on Phase 3 clinical trial, the study of this drug was discontinued due to lack of efficacy.
