Please note, this OEL/ADE monograph also applies to dichlorphenamide disodium (CAS RN 76382-13-3). Dichlorphenamide, also known as diclofenamide, is a sulfonamide and an oral carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. Dichlorphenamide was withdrawn for marketing reasons (not safety or efficacy) in some countries for human use for this indication. Dichlorphenamide is also used for treatment of glaucoma in veterinary medicine.
Affygility Solutions has an occupational exposure limit (OEL) and control band assignment for this active pharmaceutical ingredient (API). This monograph also contains the acceptable daily exposure (ADE) value.
