Dorzolamide is a sulfonamide derivative, carbonic anhydrase inhibitor used as eye drops to treat high intraocular pressure associated with ocular hypertension and open angle glaucoma. It might also be used in patients with pseudo-exfoliative glaucoma. Dorzolamide is used either as a monotherapy or as an adjunct to a beta-blocker.
