Eprinomectin is a semi-synthetic compound of the avermectin family, intended for the treatment of internal and external parasites in cattle and in lactating cows. Eprinomectin is a mixture of two homologues, eprinomectin B1a (90%) and eprinomectin B1b (10%), which differ by a methylene group in the C25.
