Flumethasone is a moderately potent difluorinated corticosteroid ester with antiinflammatory, antipruritic and vasoconstrictive properties (2). It is used to treat contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, diaper rash, and other skin conditions. It is used as a combination product with clioquinol as eardrops for inflammation.
