Lenalidomide is an antineoplastic immunomodulatory agent indicated for the treatment multiple myeloma and for myelodysplastic syndrome. Lenalidomide possesses immunomodulatory and antiangiogenic properties. Its exact mechanism of action is unknown but it has been shown in vitro to affect inflammatory cytokines and inhibit cell proliferation of various cell lines.
