Obidoxime is a cholinesterase reactivator occurring in two interchangeable isomeric forms, syn and anti. Obidoxime chloride is used, typically in combination with atropine, as an antidote to treat poisoning due to the pesticides and chemicals of the organophosphate (OP) class which have anticholinesterase (AChE) activity.
