Olive leaf extract (OLE) is used in herbal medicine for its antihypertensive and diuretic actions. It has also been used in traditional medicine for healing malaria and the associated fever and to regulate body temperature. The extract has been found to exhibit strong antimicrobial properties against viruses, bacteria, yeast, and parasites. Olive leaf extract (OLE) also has numerous cardiovascular benefits, some hypoglycemic activity, and possesses antioxidant activity. It may also have cardiovascular benefits, improve blood lipids, and reduce inflammation.
