Rilonacept (CAS RN 501081-76-1) is a dimeric fusion protein consisting of the ligand-binding domains of the extracellular portions of the human interleukin (IL)-1 receptor component (IL- 1R1) and IL-1 receptor accessory protein (IL-1RAcP) linked in-line to the fragment crystallizable (Fc) portion of human immunoglobulin G (IgG)1. Rilonacept has a molecular weight of approximately 251 kilodaltons (kDa). Rilonacept is expressed in recombinant Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells.
