Risedronic acid, also known as risedronate acid, is a third-generation bisphosphonate indicated for male osteoporosis, treatment and prophylaxis of osteoporosis due to corticosteroid use, Paget's disease, and treatment and prophylaxis of postmenopausal osteoporosis.
