Satralizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody (mAb). Each light chain and heavy chain of satralizumab consists of 214 and 443 amino acids, respectively. Satralizumab is a glycoprotein with an approximate molecular weight of 143 kilodaltons (kDa) and is produced by recombinant deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) technology in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells.
