Sulfatrim is indicated for treatment of various infections including acute infective exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, acute otitis media, HIV infection, Pneumocystis pneumonia, HIV infection, Pneumocystis pneumonia; Prophylaxis, Pneumocystis pneumonia, Pneumocystis pneumonia; Prophylaxis, Shigellosis, traveler's diarrhea, and urinary tract infectious disease.
