Tegoprazan (also known as CJ-12420) is a novel therapeutic developed for the treatment of acid-related gastrointestinal diseases. It is a potent and high-selective potassiumcompetitive acid blocker (3). It is indicated for the treatment of erosive and non-erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease, as well as stomach ulcer. Tegoprazan can also be used in combination with antibiotic therapy for treating Helicobacter pylori in patients with peptic ulcer and/or chronic gastritis.
