Telotristat ethyl is the ethyl ester form of telotristat, a tryptophan hydroxylase (TPH) inhibitor, with potential antiserotonergic activity. It is indicated for the treatment of carcinoid syndrome diarrhea in combination with somatostatin analog (SSA) therapy in adults inadequately controlled by SSA therapy.
