Thymopentin is a synthetic pentapeptide which is the active site of the naturally occurring hormone thymopoietin with immunomodulating properties (1). It is indicated for the treatment of autoimmune diseases (such as acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), rheumatoid arthritis, and systemic lupus erythematosus), a variety of primary or secondary Tcell deficiency diseases (such as children with congenital immunodeficiency disease), patients with chronic hepatitis B over 18 years of age, types of the low cellular immune function diseases, atopic dermatitis, and adjuvant therapy for tumors.
