Tofisopam is a 2,3-benzodiazepine drug which is a benzodiazepine derivative. It is indicated for neuroses and neurosis-like states accompanied by emotional stress, vegetative disorders, moderately expressed anxiety, apathy, decreased activity and compulsive emotions, reactive depression with mild psychological symptoms, mental disorder (such as posttraumatic stress disorder), climacteric syndrome, premenstrual syndrome, cardialgia, alcohol withdrawal syndrome, myasthenia, myopathies, neurogenic muscular atrophies and other pathological conditions with secondary neurotic symptoms, when anxiolytics with pronounced myorelaxant effect are contraindicated.
