Triamcinolone

Triamcinolone acetonide is the acetonide salt form of triamcinolone, a synthetic glucocorticosteroid with immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory activity. Triamcinolone is indicated for adrenal insufficiency, allergic rhinitis, seasonal or perennial asthma, carditis (acute), rheumatic carditis, disorder of endocrine system, disorder of eye, disorder of gastrointestinal tract, disorder of hematopoietic structure, disorder of respiratory system, disorder of skin, drug allergy, acute exacerbation of multiple sclerosis, inflammatory disorder of musculoskeletal system, neoplastic disease, nephrotic syndrome (idiopathic or lupus erythematosus-induced), systemic lupus erythematosus, transfusion reaction due to serum protein reaction, trichinosis with neurologic or myocardial involvement, adjunct treatment of tuberculosis of meninges, acquired hemolytic anemia, allergic rhinitis (perennial or seasonal), asthma, collagen disease, disorder of endocrine system, ganglion and synovial cyst, adjunct treatment for inflammatory disorder of musculoskeletal system, leukemia, malignant lymphoma, stomatitis, alopecia areata, and arthritis.
