A mid-sized pharmaceutical company needed several dozen material safety data sheets (MSDS) developed. Affygility Solutions met the client’s need by developing the requested MSDSs within the client’s required timeframe.

An organizational change in the Company’s operations required that numerous existing products that were previously exempted from the MSDS requirements would now be shipped in bulk to a packaging facility. Therefore, under a tight project timeline, MSDSs needed to be authored, reviewed, revised, and finalized in a timely manner.
Upon receipt of the request for several dozen material safety data sheets, Affygility Solutions initiated a structure process for researching all applicable toxicology information for the active pharmaceutical ingredients and the excipients. In addition, regulatory information for Proposition 65, WHMIS, EU safety and risk phrase compliance was researched. Draft MSDSs were composed and submitted to client. Upon completion of the client’s internal review, revisions were made and final MSDS were submitted to client.
EHS representative for the client received their completed MSDSs in a timely manner and were able to meet their production deadlines.
